How long is a typical consultation
I schedule our first session for 45 minutes. This gives me plenty of time to explore your child's background, discuss current challenges, and outline clear advocacy goals together in a supportive and focused setting.
What is my pricing structure
I value complete transparency in my rates. I offer packages ranging from document reviews to representation at IEP meetings. My aim is to ensure high-quality advocacy remains accessible and predictable for your family budget.
What should you expect during our first session
I treat our first meeting as a discovery phase where I listen to your concerns and review your documents. I then begin drafting a personal roadmap for your child's advocacy. You will leave feeling clear about your rights and exactly what steps I recommend we take next.
How does my coaching work
My coaching is a partnership where we meet regularly to track progress and prepare for school meetings. I help you refine your communication strategies so you feel fully empowered and informed throughout your child's entire school year.
How do I handle school communication
I prioritize professional, data-driven collaboration. I can coach you on how to message school staff yourself, or if you prefer, I can speak directly with them as your representative to ensure your child's specific needs are articulated clearly and effectively.
What makes my approach at Specially EmpowerED unique
My strength comes from my background as a former educator and administrator. I possess deep knowledge of special education law and understand the system from the inside out, which allows me to navigate complex policies effectively to get the best results for your child.
Which student needs do I support
I support students ages 2–21 with suspected disabilities or medical conditions that impact their learning, as well as those with existing IEPs and 504 plans. My advocacy covers a broad range of academic, social, emotional, and physical support requirements.
